The Ecomo Water Analyzer is the first portable water analyzer that can detect and filter 6 different types of contaminants: heavy metals, bacteria, pH, Total Dissolved Solids, turbidity, and Total Organic Carbon. The founders of the Ecomo Water Analyzer believe that everyone has the right to know what's in their drinking water. Especially now, with the Flint water crisis so much in the news, people need a way to measure the safety of their drinking water, and improve it if necessary. That's where the Ecomo Water Analyzer comes in. Small and portable, the analyzer fits on most faucets, mugs, and bottles, and tests your water to ensure quality. The LED light on the analyzer indicates the quality, and the filter then sends a detailed report to its corresponding app. If the quality is not up to standards, simply add on one of the different filters that come with the analyzer, and drink your water with peace of mind.
Eric Li and Tianyi Chen, two of the team members behind Ecomo, approached MLP in May of 2015. They were finalizing the water analyzer, and were planning to launch a Kickstarter campaign in the fall. They'd heard of us through our work on the Micro 3D Printer Kickstarter video, and wanted a video of similar quality. They needed a video that would present the problem of unsafe drinking water, demonstrate how Ecomo would solve that problem, and use high-end animation to showcase the specifications and capabilities of the analyzer. We worked closely with Ecomo over the course of several months, developing use cases, creating storyboards for the team to review, and planning the production. Production was completed in September, and the finished video shortly thereafter. Ecomo will be launching on Kickstarter in Spring 2016. Want to be a beta tester?
