Here at Mark Leisher Productions, we are incredibly excited to announce our graduation from the Bethesda Green Business Incubator. We were one of the early members of the Incubator, joining in 2011 as a one-man company. Through Mark’s hard work and the support of the Bethesda Green Business Incubator, MLP has been growing ever since. With BG, Mark was able to connect with influential people and businesses in the Bethesda community and start building his client base. Through Incubator connections, Mark has worked with organizations including the Maryland Technology Development Corporation, the National Audubon Society, and STIHL, Inc.
During our time in the Incubator, Mark re-affirmed his commitment to sustainability. He acted as cinematographer on a film about the Montgomery County Agricultural Reserve, regularly provided event coverage and short videos for Bethesda Green, helped other Incubator companies create profile videos for their businesses, and worked with the Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection and the District Department of the Environment. MLP also partnered with Bethesda Green and Journey’s Crossing Church to run the Reel Water Film Festival, whose proceeds go toward solving water issues locally and abroad. Over the past three years, the festival raised money for projects in the Philippines, Southern India, and Uganda.
After four years, MLP had outgrown our space in Bethesda Green. With two full time employees, two editors, and a group of reliable contractors, we needed the space and flexibility that a studio office space could provide. We moved into our new office in early May, and we’re looking forward to expanding our business as well. Over the past few months we’ve begun to re-brand ourselves as a digital marketing firm. While we’ll still provide top-of-the-line video production services, we’ll also help clients build their brands and attract new customers. Got questions about our marketing services?
